Cultural Explorations at MEbig

Last week, the children at MEbig enjoyed diving into their new topics based on the People pillar. Through stories and hands-on activities, they learnt about traditions and cultures from across the Americas – focusing on Colombia, Mexico and Brazil. An exciting visit from a MEbig parent helped the children to find out more about life in Brazil, and they had lots of fun practising some Portuguese phrases such as 'Bom dia', and 'Obrigado'! Our little learners extended their learning into imaginary aeroplane games and songs, and had lots of fun making flags with different craft materials. Inspired by their discoveries, the children also created special MEplace flags to represent their groups. We’re looking forward to more exploring throughout the month!
