Wintery World at MEplace KX

This week at MEplace KX, we welcomed in the new season by learning all about winter! The children loved exploring the exciting activity stations around their classrooms, such as creating snow sculptures and mark-making in the powdery ‘snow’ sensory trays. There were ice trays to investigate as we learnt about creatures that thrive in the cold, and the children used their imaginations to create dens to shelter in. We loved our exciting extracurriculars, reaching tall like fir trees in yoga and singing along to new songs in music – our little learners played to the beat with their jingle bells, adding actions and dance moves! And of course, there’s been plenty of cosy story times, daily outings where we wrapped up warm, and daily mindfulness sessions with sparkling lights and seasonal scents. What a wonderful, wintery week!
