Fun and Feelings at MEplace KX
Last week at MEplace KX, the children explored the topic of ‘Feelings & Emotions’ – wowing the teachers with their excitement and enthusiasm! Every group experienced a range of hands-on activities designed to introduce emotional literacy and self-regulation skills. The children took part in drama activities, play-acting different emotions with actions and facial expressions. They listened to stories and songs, and represented their ideas through messy art activities! Even our littlest learners joined the fun in the Baby Room, with teachers helping to name the children’s feelings, supported by colourful resources from the emotions box. There was so much to discover, from self-expression in mirrors and grounding nature walks, to calming sensory sessions with chimes, bubbles, soft lights and more… Well done, everyone!
