Musical Medley at MEbaby

Music is in the air at MEbaby! As part of our Fun pillar topic, the children are exploring different creative modes for expressing themselves. There’s been plenty of singing, from good morning songs and tuneful tales to singing games with funny actions! During their weekly music session, our wonderful teacher Helen brought along her singing bowl and trusty ukelele – which always guarantees delighted smiles and giggles! We celebrated World Dance Day in our creative dance session, with the little Caterpillars bopping, twirling, clapping and bouncing to the beat. The children also enjoyed musical guessing games, and explored sensory instrument trays. They got crafty decorating musical notes and modelling playdough while listening to different melodies, using music to support mindfulness. And the journey even continued outdoors, with the Caterpillars tuning in to the sounds of nature on their listening walks. What a beautiful, musical week!
