Feeling at Home at MEclub KX
Over at King’s Cross, our MEclub children have had a fantastic time learning all about the importance of home. They’ve enjoyed stories, explored on outings, and even interviewed the MEplace team to find out more about what makes a home special. The children were inspired to design their own dream homes, with some extra-special features, like a secret portal and a magic coffee table! They added parts of their design to the small world playhouse in the MEclub room. Out on the garden terrace, the children got stuck in with junk modelling to create giant cardboard houses! Meanwhile, at Forest School, the mud kitchen became a home corner, with the children brewing and stirring ‘soups’ and ‘porridge’. And the learning continued on our daily outings, with trips to the local playground sparking imaginative play where climbing frames became castles…
