Move and Groove at MEplace KX

What a fantastic week it’s been here at MEplace KX – full of dance, joy, and exciting exploration! The children loved the learning topic, ‘Wiggle, Move and Groove’, which had them bopping, balancing and bouncing with delight. Soft play in the garden was a chance to climb, race and slide, while classroom sensory stations offered a range of textures, sounds and sensations. Our weekly extracurriculars added to the fun, with marching and stomping to dinosaur songs in music, and trying out relaxing stretches in yoga. There’s been plenty of mindful moments along the way, with gentle listening walks and fun breathing exercises to help us feel grounded and present. Highlights of the week included games like ‘roll the ball’ and ‘dance & freeze’, musical jam sessions, dancing to salsa music during Circle Time – and of course, an exciting baby disco in the Caterpillars Room!
